CLIMB KILIMANJARO – Machame Route

This route can best be described as the most difficult route, not only due to the level of fitness required, but also in respect to the climbing/sleep ratios required at the higher elevations. However, at the same time, it is also considered to be the best all round choice, as it exposes the climbers to an increase in elevation quicker than other routes, consequently the acclimatization process is much more efficient, together with providing more varied and rewarding views, as the lower level ascent and descent takes place along different trails. Accommodation along the route is tented at specific campsites. After taking all into consideration, we offer to our guests the option of either a 6 day or 7 day trip, to try and ensure that in their choice, the final outcome will not be disappointing.
